History of the Work

History of the Treats

We started working under the oversight of the Forest Park eldership in 2003 and moved to the mission field in 2004. We lived and worked in Saipan with the church there for five years. Seeing the church was ready to stand on its own, we moved to Palau in 2010. Now 11 years on the field, we have no plans for leaving. Our goal is to get the Palau church established; we want to stay and see that goal accomplished.

Forest Park's History in the Islands

For over 40 years Forest Park has had full-time missionaries in the Pacific. Robert and Mary Martin started it by moving to Fiji and establishing congregations there. Later, Randy and Sharon English went to American Samoa. Randy and Sharon have been in the islands for over 25 years. Steve and Pam Vice moved to Saipan and were there for 11 years. We replaced them in Saipan, and Steve now serves as an elder at the Forest Park congregation.
